We're on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to join the retail channel of a rapidly growing consumer electronics business. About Our Client Our client is a dynamic consumer electronics company expanding so fast they need an extra hand on their National Account team. They have several brands that dominate their categories, ranking 1 and 2, with plenty of room for further growth. The team is small, hardworking, and knows how to have fun and celebrate their successes together. The leadership promotes high levels of autonomy and gives the freedom to achieve targets and objectives in the way that works best for the team. There's lots of support and room to bounce around ideas, but they expect this Business Development Manager to be proactive, solve problems, and take risks independently. The HQ is in the South of the UK, but this role is fully home-based with travel to the office every other week. The Role As the Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for launching new brands in major retailers as well as launching new categories within existing brands. You'll manage the commercials, trading terms, and performance of your accounts, aiming to continue the fast growth this channel is experiencing. You'll be working with a portfolio of 5-6 brands and multiple SKUs, so being able to multitask and handle a high volume of products is crucial. The current brands are already doing well however there is significant growth potential and some new brands due to launch, so this role is a high-profile role with plenty of opportunities to exceed targets. We're looking for someone with experience selling into national retailers and opening doors with major buyers in this space. Salary The salary is £45,000 - £50,000, with a bonus scheme on top [please note there is no company car or car allowance with this role].
