The Role:
We’re currently recruiting a Partnership Insights Manager within our Partnership Development team to help us take things to the next level. This role will manage audience insights and data analysis to support commercial growth as well as lead existing partner measurement, impact, and valuation.
About You
Commercial Development
* Lead audience, category, and industry insights to strengthen prospect pitches and support go-to-market sales materials
* Monitor trends across the EPL, football, sports, entertainment, and media landscape in order for internal team to stay apprised and consider key industry developments
* Utilize first and third party research tools to extract relevant data and then assemble into clear, concise & action-able insights
* Assemble ideas, themes, and data into compelling, visualized narratives
* Deliver relevant research to determine prospecting strategy, including category identification, trend reporting, and brand list creation
Partner Impact
* Utilize first-party data and syndicated research tools to conduct partnership measurement, determining tangible and intangible value to partner brands and THFC
* Track partner campaigns across a variety of channels, providing insights and data-driven optimization recommendations
* Support execution of partner brand health studies, including survey design, content development, and reporting results
* Develop measurement dashboards that distil qualitative and quantitative metrics to evaluate performance consistently across partnership portfolio
* Create case studies and recap reports to summarize overall impact back to the club and individual partners
Additional
* Lead, manage, and annually evaluate relationships with third-party agencies and research suppliers
* Monitor the centralisation and quality of first- and third-party research & data for the partnership development department
* Performs various tasks as needed by internal team members such as research, reports, ad hoc strategic asks, etc.
What you will bring
* Understanding of the commercial sporting landscape and dynamics
* Experience within a brand, agency, or rights holder working in sports marketing and/or commercial partnership development
* Advanced understanding of audience insights and sponsorship assets
* Strong numerical and analytical ability
* Experience translating quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights and recommendations
* Strong attention to detail and highly organized, with a proven ability to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with PowerPoint and Excel
* Experience working with syndicated research tools (e.g., Nielsen, GWI, Blinkfire, Brandwatch, GlobalData, etc.)
