Join COOK as a Field Account Manager
Full-Time, covering Yorkshire, Durham, Cumbria areas. Ideal for recent graduates or those with some experience in sales, retail or account management.
Salary: £34,000 - £37,000, plus profit share & benefits, depending on experience.
Overview
To manage and maintain the business-to-business relationship between COOK and its Concession retailers within a defined geographical territory. Ensure the utmost focus is put into maintaining the COOK brand and upholding high retail standards at all times. Increase revenue and profit through targeted account penetration, new retailer recruitment, and launching. Jointly ‘own’ the Concessions weekly sales figures and New Space targets with the other Concessions Managers and concessions teams. Support the company sales strategy at all times.
About You
* You might be a recent graduate or have some experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
* Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and an optimistic outlook.
* Strong communication and people skills, with a passion for building relationships.
* Comfortable with using IT tools like Excel, Word, and Outlook (we'll teach you the rest!).
* A willingness to learn and grow with us, and to adapt to remote and autonomous working environments.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management:
* Build and maintain relationships with COOK stockists (concessions) in your area.
* Ensure a great customer experience at all times.
* Learn to analyse sales reports and identify growth opportunities, with the support of your manager/buddy.
* Present yearly forecasts and growth plans for your territory, including Capex spend requirements.
* Coach customers on sales optimisation and support them to grow LFL sales.
Launching and Merchandising:
* Responsible for launching all new stores and incremental freezers in your territory, as well as re-merchandising or handling POS repairs.
* Manual handling - physically unpacking and installing POS/cladding, handling stock to fill freezers and setting up additional artwork such as wall signage.
* Occasional hiring and driving a van to collect or relocate POS equipment.
Brand Protection and Auditing:
* Help create and maintain branded ‘COOK concessions’ in line with supply criteria, forging partnerships with suitable retailers.
* Support retailers in following brand guidelines to showcase COOK in their communities and grow sales.
New Business Development:
* Assist in identifying and launching new Concessions opportunities, with guidance from the team.
* Contribute to sales strategy and team targets.
Other Information
* This role involves 4 days a week on the road visiting retailers, and 1 day working from home.
* You’ll need a reliable car suitable for the job. Mileage is reimbursed at 0.45p per mile, unlimited.
* A suitable space to work from home is required.
