The Grocery Business generates over £650m Turnover and is a key growth engine in Premier Foods. We're looking for a commercially astute and fully qualified Finance Manager to support the business as we accelerate the branded performance over the next few years.
Main purpose of the role:
1. Operate as an effective Business Partner to two Customer Directors across Morrisons and the Foodservice channel, providing accurate and timely finance support to drive informed and quality business decision making.
2. Work hand in hand with Commercial Planning & Execution Team to influence the trade investment strategy for the channel via constant monitoring, analysing and interpreting of internal and external data, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of Trade Investment spend is consistently improved.
3. Understand the performance drivers and longer-term issues of customers and the implications of these for the wider business.
4. Responsible for the period end analysis, the short-term forecast cycles and evaluation of performance to drive insight for the sales teams & the senior leadership team.
What we need from you:
1. ACCA, CIMA, ACA full qualification (or equivalent)
2. Previous experience of working in commercial finance
3. Strong business partnering experience
4. Commercial acumen and understanding of external challenges
5. Ability to challenge and influence at all levels, using data to provide insights and recommendations
