Workshop Service Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Service Technician to join Rolls-Royce Power Systems at our workshop in East Grinstead.
In this role, you will conduct repairs and overhauls of rail engines to a high standard and to the required specifications, and you will also look after other workshop processes and procedures.

What you will be doing
In this interesting role, you will be responsible for:
* Maintenance and repair activities within the workshop - engine overhauls, repairs and other workshop processes and procedures.
* Overhauls of sub-assemblies.
* Engine and component inspection and cleaning as required.
* Completion of relevant quality documentation in line with our processes procedures, and work instructions.
* Measurement calculations to agreed specifications.
Who we’re looking for

* Prior work experience with engine maintenance and repairs in a similar industry. Training on our products will be provided.
* Relevant qualifications - City & Guilds level 3, NVQ/SVQ level 3 or other equivalent/higher level qualifications.
* Good organisational skills.
* A flexible attitude, good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
