We are a well established law firm who are committed to providing exceptional legal advice and customer service to our clients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and highly organised Paralegal to join our Private Client team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have a keen interest within this area of law.
The successful candidate will work closely and assist the fee earners across a broad range of Private Client services, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities
1. Assist with the preparation of meetings by gathering relevant information.
2. Prepare and follow up letters of engagement following client instruction.
3. Take inbound and make outbound calls to clients and third parties.
4. Draft legal documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
5. Excellent file management.
6. Provide administrative assistance to the team.
7. Communicate effectively with clients and other parties involved in the matter.
8. Conduct legal research using various databases to support case preparation.
9. Attend client meetings as required to provide support to the legal team.
10. Additional duties where appropriate.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong IT skills.
3. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
4. Strong time management.
5. Exceptional written and verbal communication.
6. A keen eye for detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
7. A relevant qualification in law or paralegal studies is advantageous but not essential.
