This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week.The role is to work at the University fitness facilities, whilst the post-holder will be based mainly at Regent Street, it would be expected to work across the different campuses when required.Fitness instructors work on a variety of shifts which include early, late and middle shifts where the successful candidate will be opening and closing the facility alongside other administrative duties such as end of day banking plus teaching studio classes. Some weekend maybe required.The role is to maintain and supervise the gym users, ensuring their safety and making sure processes are followed. The Post-holder will need to complete cleaning and maintenance of the gym and report any issues to the Fitness Team leader.To deliver excellent customer service and be able to relate with different customers we have at the University. Working across the different areas of the facility such as reception, back office and also to cover our other facility on the Harrow campus when required. Expectations to teach classes as part of your working day. If successful candidates do not have first aid, they are required to complete the course once in post. •Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualified•Polite, friendly, and confident when speaking to a diverse membership base •Flexible for shift work including 7:00am starts and 10:15pm finishes.•Possess an ability to teach classes.•First Aid, desired but not essential but must take the course if successful (Once in post)The University actively promotes diversity in its workforce.
