We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank General Practitioner to join our Healthcare team at HMP Sudbury, a category D prison near Ashbourne in Derbyshire. This prison supports around 600 male patients, many of whom have complex physical health and low-level mental health needs. As part of this role, you will be completing referrals to hospital and external services for patients who are reintegrating back into the community.

This is a part-time role with a salary of up to £131,000 per annum FTE depending on experience.
Hours
12 hours/3 sessions per week to be worked between Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (hours are noticeable).

Qualifications Required
* MBChB or MBBS.
* Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
* Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal.
* Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse.
* RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications.
