Site Agent – Infrastructure
Location: Banwell
Purpose of the role: As a Senior Site Agent, you will manage your section of works, ensuring client and company performance expectations are met. The role supports the delivery of a new carriageway scheme involving earthworks, structures, and highways works. You will report to the Project Manager and lead the day-to-day management of the works, including mobilisation and coordination with the Works Manager and section leads.
Key Accountabilities:
* Promote a safe working environment.
* Manage the site team and supply chain daily.
* Plan and monitor the progress of works.
* Manage multiple packages, controlling costs.
* Handle scope changes and temporary works requirements.
* Implement value engineering and attend external meetings.
* Report progress and performance to the Project Manager.
* Administer cost forecasts, valuations, and reporting systems.
* Conduct site meetings and ensure latest design information is used.
* Order materials, conduct H&S checks, and ensure safety procedures.
* Resolve technical issues and maintain quality control.
* Lead and manage team members, conduct performance reviews, and monitor staff capabilities.

Requirements:
* Ability to work safely and manage multiple packages.
* Strong data interpretation skills and organisation.
* Effective communication with team, subcontractors, designer, and client.
* Knowledge of CDM and NEC standards.
* Commercial awareness and leadership skills.
* Advanced problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
* HNC or higher
* SMSTS
* Relevant Civil Engineering Experience
