Due to increased workload and business growth, our client is looking to recruit multiple technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and testing a variety of subsea equipment. You will work with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, diagnosing issues and ensuring the equipment is fully prepared for offshore operations. The role also involves traveling offshore and overseas to support equipment installation and operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance and testing of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment in accordance with company standards.
* Assist in troubleshooting faults in both mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring smooth operation.
* Document all assembly, testing, and maintenance tasks accurately and ensure records are up to date.
* Maintain high levels of safety and cleanliness in the workplace, adhering to Health & Safety policies.
* Collaborate with the Workshop Supervisor to support departmental improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
* Solid knowledge of either mechanical, hydraulic systems or electrical systems in a subsea setting.
* Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and procedural documentation.
* Experience in industrial sectors such as oilfield, aerospace, or automotive is desirable.
* Proficiency in the use of hydraulic torquing tools, overhead cranes, and forklifts (training provided).
* Offshore work experience is highly preferred; candidates should be prepared for travel as required.
