The Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sales to join our growth orientated direct sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both managing a team and selling Data & AI and Technology solutions to support the customer lifecycle from marketing to sales to customer service. This role requires someone who understands how organisations can turn their data into insight and value. We are looking for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who consistently exceeds targets and drives business growth.
How will you spend your time?
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
* Lead, mentor, and manage the direct sales team to ensure individual and team quotas are met.
* Take ownership of personal sales quota, while supporting the team in achieving their targets.
* Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects and stakeholders.
* Analyse sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
* Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies.
* Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
It’s important that you are experienced in
* Proven experience in selling customer data led solutions, including advisory services.
* Strong understanding of customer data solutions for sales, service, and marketing.
* Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding personal and team sales quotas.
* In-depth knowledge of the industry and market trends.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Ideal Qualifications:
* 7+ years of sales experience with at least 3 years in a sales management role.
* Experience in a Data & Technology service provider with a focus on marketing, sales and service technology.
* Track record of successfully leading a sales team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
* High level of integrity and professionalism.
* Ability to travel as needed.
