Maintenance Technician
Location: Torbay Leisure Centre
Type: Full time, 40 hours per week

Primary Objectives for the Maintenance Technician:
1. Assist in the daily running of the Sites Plant rooms.
2. Oversee all contractors on site carrying out any repair/maintenance work as directed by the Centre Management team.
3. Conduct daily/weekly/monthly checks.
4. Perform daily reactive maintenance.
Daily Tasks:
1. Coordinate all aspects of Health and Safety and Fire Safety.
2. Manage the Leisure Centre's quality assurance systems and procedures.
3. Carry out maintenance tasks as required by the management team.
4. Undertake any regulatory requirements.
5. Manage the facilities planned maintenance system.
6. Maintain the operation of the building and equipment.
7. Liaise daily with the duty managers to ensure any technical issues are resolved as a priority.
8. Undertake any other duties as required by the site technician to ensure that the business objectives of the contract are achieved.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
1. Preferably hold GCSEs including Maths and English Grade C or above, or a similar qualification.
2. Desirable to hold a minimum of RSA level 2 or equivalent.
3. Ability to use Excel, Word and Microsoft Office to an intermediate level.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate administrative abilities, although full training will be given. Among the personal characteristics sought, the applicant:
