Based in the Liverpool area, this is a hybrid role offering 2 days from home per week. Salary/benefits: 5 hour week with hybrid working model Excellent pension Enhanced annual leave Free Parking Private Medical Job Duties: We are looking for a Management Accountant, who will assist the finance team in the completion of routine month and year-end processing, management accounts and the processing of daily transactions. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Calculation and posting of monthly transactions including accruals, prepayments and depreciation Investigating variances, and monitoring KPIs Maintaining records and supporting documentation/working files Prepare and support in re-charges and invoicing Preparation and posting of monthly payroll export to the General Ledger Supporting the wider finance function with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required. Required Skills / Experience Demonstrable knowledge of accounting and finance through a relevant degree and/or professional examinations (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Competent in the use Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint Experience of following processes and promoting them Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated to achieve targets Ability to adapt to a changing environment Ability to plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
