About the Role: In this newly created role, the PR & Communications Manager will be responsible for driving the MEEM Press Office and VIP activity globally. We are looking for a full time candidate to join this exciting, fast paced marketing department supporting UK and International growth. Responsibilities: Work closely alongside the Head of PR & Communications on the PR strategy for the business, driving brand awareness, visibility and positioning Build relationships with key journalists and stylists to help drive high quality press coverage for the brand Lead the strategy for ‘always-on’ product storytelling & proactive pitching of key collections to UK ROW media, ensuring a consistent brand tone of voice across all activity Support the PR Assistant with idea generation for timely pitches that feed into wider industry trends and brand storytelling. Work alongside the marketing team to identify and place brand and product news stories across global target media. Also working closely with the merchandising and growth teams to identify relevant data points to support PR pitches Work alongside the PR team to conceptualise and execute a calendar of brand/PR events annually in line with strategic objectives Daily management of external US PR and Influencer agency, supporting on accelerating the growth of the brand within the American market through VIP activity, media partnerships and traditional PR strategies Identify new opportunities and strengthen relationships across VIP activity. Proactively engaging with talent management and VIP stylists to grow celebrity placements Own and develop the PR Calendar, identifying key industry and cultural moments to support with product and brand storytelling Management of PR & VIP reporting with regular analysis of results, identifying areas of opportunity Manage and grow the brands affiliate network, identifying partnership opportunities and areas for growth Supporting and mentoring the PR Assistant across product call ins, pitches and gifting activity Skills: Minimum of 5-6 years working in a PR/Communications role, either in-house or within a PR agency A strong understanding of the global media landscape, experience working within the fashion industry will be considered an advantage Strong relationships across industry journalists and stylists (VIP and editorial) Proven track record of delivering impactful PR campaigns A strong interest in the fashion and retail industry and wider cultural landscape Experience delivering both large and small scale brand events Self-motivated with experience managing a small team Excellent written and verbal communications skills Highly organised and with precise attention to detail A strategic thinker who is full of ideas and eager to push the boundaries Employee Benefits: 33 days annual leave for full time employees (25 days holiday 8 bank holidays) A day off to celebrate your birthday.
