Wellington Health & Fitness Club is currently recruiting for a highly motivated individual with experience in the leisure or hospitality industry to join the team on a part-time (18.25 hours per week) basis as Duty Manager.

Wellington Health & Fitness Club is a dual-use independent private members club serving 2000 members, the local community sporting clubs, as well as accommodating the College’s PE and Sports programme throughout the academic year.

About the role:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for delivering the efficient and effective control of the daily operations and service of the Club, ensuring that security, general cleanliness, customer supervision, set-ups, and equipment checks are maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensure all pool safety and operating procedures are in place.
* Maintain all NOPs and housekeeping systems.
* Implement all Health & Safety requirements.
* Supervise all operational staff effectively to ensure quality customer service.
* Handle membership enquiries.
* Administer First Aid as required.
Experience:
* 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role in leisure or hospitality.
