As the Water Production Planner, you will be a specialist in technical and modelling capabilities to ensure the continuous and resilient supply of wholesome water from source to tap while driving cost efficiency and protection of water resources.
You will be responsible for the Hampshire water supply operational region and will be expected to maintain high levels of engagement with managers across other functions using your stakeholder management and influential skills, to drive performance and achieve adherence to their water supply regional plans. You will use your analytical mind to manage the data and analysis for all asset outage methodologies including Ofwat unplanned outage performance and SDBI metrics.
You will be responsible for the delivery of significant savings by embedding a new culture to ensure a fully optimised operation of the production network at minimal cost. With consideration to the variation in energy tariffs, power, chemicals, water demand and resources, capital scheme impact and production plant availability 24/7.
This role requires a technical expert who is confident at engaging with stakeholders across the organisation often in pressurised situations and as part of the interview process, you will need to be able to demonstrate this.
There are opportunities to progress within the business i.e. long term training to become a Hydraulic Modeller.
As the Water Production Planner, you will be based at our Durrington office, with the option to work remotely 3 days a week and travel to Hampshire region several times a month.
