About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in the Horley/Crawley area. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that motivate students to excel in mathematics, fostering both understanding and a love for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging maths lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and abilities
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing timely feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the mathematics department’s resources and strategies
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching maths at secondary school level (Key Stages 3 and 4 preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and effective learning environment
- A passion for mathematics and enthusiasm for inspiring students
