Following our recent merger, SAGA Truck & Van now operates 10 sites across Kent, Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk, making us one of the largest and most trusted names in the industry. Our reputation is built on expertise, customer focus, and a commitment to excellence—and now we’re looking for a talented sales professional to join our award-winning Mercedes-Benz Van Sales Team at our Sittingbourne Depot.
As a Van Sales Business Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in growing our market presence, working closely with businesses of all sizes to provide tailored vehicle solutions. You’ll be backed by a dedicated support team and have access to full product training, ensuring you can confidently guide customers through the sales journey—from first inquiry to after-sales support.

What you will be doing:
* Generating Sales – Actively prospecting and developing new leads within the commercial van market across England.
* Building Relationships – Managing and growing a client base by understanding business needs and offering tailored solutions.
* Expert Knowledge – Understanding our van models, features, and benefits to guide customers through the sales process.
* Consultative Selling – Recommending the right vehicles and financing options based on customer requirements.
* Negotiating & Closing Deals – Securing sales with competitive pricing and excellent service.
* Managing Your Pipeline – Prioritising activities to maximise sales opportunities and hit revenue targets.
* Market Awareness – Keeping up with industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead.
* Ensuring Compliance – Managing the customer experience in line with FCA regulations for regulated business.
What we are looking for:
* A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for sales
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Experience in commercial vehicle sales (or a related field)
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
* Proficiency in CRM software & Microsoft Office Suite
* A valid driving licence and a clean driving record
* An awareness of Health & Safety procedures

Job Summary
Location: Sittingbourne
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30, Saturday 09:00 – 14:00 (rota basis)
Salary: £26,000 per annum + company car & commission
