Role: As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within commercial and industrial facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks on electrical systems to minimise downtime.
2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
3. Collaborating with fellow team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and optimize facility performance.
4. Recommending improvements and upgrades to enhance the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems.
Requirements:
5. Full qualification as an Electrical Engineer, accompanied by relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
6. Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, particularly with a focus on electrical systems within commercial or industrial settings.
7. A comprehensive understanding of electrical regulations and safety protocols.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
9. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.
