Experienced Teaching Assistant KS1 & KS2
Are you a SEND TA with experience working in an SEMH or SEND school setting? The ideal Teaching Assistant should be knowledgeable of safety interventions and have experience in an SEN educational setting, including using recording systems and implementing strategies. Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting students with SEN and challenging behaviours in small group settings or on a 1:1 basis.
Do you have experience creating or implementing plans, working in a supportive role, or conducting literacy/numeracy interventions? We would love to hear about your achievements.

Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting students with SEN and challenging behaviours on a 1:1 basis or in small group settings.
* Assisting in the delivery of classroom-based and outdoor educational activities.
* Promoting a positive learning environment and nurturing the social and emotional development of students.
* Collaborating with teachers, TAs, and parents to ensure effective support and progress.
* Working with a team to create a safe, supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Experience in SEN/SEMH school environment.
* Knowledge of or experience with safety interventions (verbal de-escalation/physical intervention).
* Resilience and adaptability to challenging situations; working with young learners requires patience.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Computer literate; familiar with Word, PowerPoint, and using email.
AND one or more of the following:
* GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
* NVQ level 4 or equivalent/BTEC qualifications in education, childcare, social work, social care, counselling, or youth work.

Pay: £105.00-£120.00 per day
