Our dedicated Cultural Enterprise teams are at the heart of our commercial operations, playing a crucial role in ensuring the long-term sustainability of our Museum. In this exciting role, you will provide leadership, drive innovation, and empower our teams to expand our commercial impact and maximise growth opportunities within the unique environment of an award-winning Living Museum. What are the duties? Developing our existing revenue channels through the management of our income generation teams. Motivating reporting teams through target and behaviour management as well as delivering training and continual development plans. Creating a culture of innovation and having a rigorous focus on profit across the Cultural Enterprise Teams. Collaborating with the Head of Operations to ensure timely and successful delivery of all Enterprise activities. Overseeing the Business Partner Scheme and Venue Hire Channels to establish the Black Country Living Museum as the heart of the West Midlands Business Community. Growing our filming profile by working dynamically with the creative sector. Aligning workstreams and liaising closely with wider museum teams to achieve a seamless customer experience and an efficient working environment. What are we looking for? Experience in managing income generation teams (i.e Corporate Sales, Food and Drink, Retail, and ticketing) venue hire and event organisation. Inclusive interpersonal skills and successful negotiation experience. Operational experience in retail, food and customer service. Familiarity of a ticketing process in a customer focused environment. Proven financial planning and budget management skills. The ability to innovate and drive new revenue streams.
