Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of their TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Ownership of a sales pipeline, conversion and profitability (with guidance from Head of Sales) and relevant CRM approaches and activities
2. Identify and qualify new sales opportunities
3. Be the commercial face of the business
4. Close sales
5. Provide technical support to customers
6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends
7. Deliver against sales forecast
8. Assist to drive and sustain growth
9. Quotation and proposal writing
The Person:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
2. Previous experience in sales would be very beneficial
3. Experience of working within a certification test lab environment would also be beneficial
4. Strong understanding of EMC, Radio Testing and Product safety Testing
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Rewards:
1. Salary dependent on experience within a range from £35k - £45k
