We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical biased maintenance engineer to join our team. Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our machinery and able to diagnose and repair faults.
The ideal candidate will be proactive and a team player, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
We operate sociable hours, day shifts only. 40 hours per week with agreed flexibility to cover machine breakdowns and planned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance across two sites in the Skelmersdale area
* Carrying out repairs to machinery and equipment
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues as required in a timely manner to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum
* Involvement in planned projects across both sites
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant certifications and regulations
* Be proactive in continuous improvement across the business
FLT / IPAF licence preferred but not essential.
