As a Financial Support Hub Senior Team Leader, you'll be responsible for:
* Supporting the wider business with billing, credit control, private equity, and other financial areas of support.
* Working alongside the SSC Finance Hub Lead to ensure work is allocated and controlled effectively, and quality control is maintained.
* Embedding a continuous improvement culture through effective monitoring and root cause analysis of errors and omissions.
* Upholding high ethical standards and ensuring the team adheres to policies and regulations.
* Handling internal queries and building relationships with colleagues and teams across BDO UK.
* Leading training and development of the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
* Demonstrating strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the team towards achieving their objectives.
* Ensuring clear, concise, and effective communication within the team and with other stakeholders.
* Making informed and timely decisions that benefit the team and align with organisational goals.
* Identifying issues promptly and implementing effective solutions to overcome challenges.
* Setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
* Fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, offering training and growth opportunities.

Key requirements for this role include:
* Strong people and team management experience.
* Experience of managing multiple teams.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel and other MS Office products.
* Knowledge of billing and credit control/cash flow/purchase to pay.
* Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision.
* Willingness to get involved in ad hoc activities with a 'can do' attitude.
* Strong understanding and dedication to client centricity.
