Division info:
The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.
Summary of position:
As an integral part of the dedicated HR team, the HR Advisor plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive HR support and guidance to the Runcorn Operations team and all support functions.
Main responsibilities:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
2. Maintain and update the HR Information System (HRIS) and ensure accurate management of HR records.
3. Coordinate the absence review process, including scheduling absence meetings, and manage employee absence records while tracking related KPIs.
4. Support grievance and disciplinary procedures in compliance with company policies and ensure accurate maintenance of HR-related data.
5. Use HR systems to input, access, and compile HR-related data and reports.
6. Oversee the HR corporate database and generate accurate payroll reports.
7. Design and manage onboarding and induction programs, facilitating a seamless transition for new employees.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar HR advisory role.
2. CIPD Level 3 qualification or a degree in Human Resources (or equivalent).
3. Previous experience in the manufacturing or aviation sector is highly desirable.
4. Proficient in maintaining and utilizing HR systems.
5. Proven ability to present information and respond effectively to queries from managers, team leaders, and employees.
6. Knowledge of health and safety practices is an advantage.
7. Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
8. Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.
9. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to meet company deadlines.
