As a Whitespace Controller in our Environmental Services team, you’ll manage and coordinate missed bin and KPI levels and drive continuous improvement using the data that is provided on Whitespace.
Working alongside the Whitespace Administrator you’ll support the daily running of the system and operations.
You’ll be entrusted to:
1. Ensure optimal use of existing Serco Management Information System to record accurate service and performance information.
2. Engage with contract operational departments throughout the day and identify any issues as and when they arise.
3. Analyse management data and respond to customer and client queries supporting operational departments on the management of any possible service issues, ensuring that appropriate action is taken, and any outstanding service requirements are completed.
4. Work collaboratively with the operational and support departments for resolution when any performance issues arise.
5. Identify risk and prioritise activities to ensure KPI’s and SLAs are constantly achieved.
6. Drive continuous improvement and work with the client to remove duplicate and invalid logs of missed bins, creating the repeat missed bin checks, and liaise with the client to use the data from these checks to reduce missed bin numbers.
7. Provide data on poor performance (highlighting repeated poor performance such as failure to complete, missed bins, lost bins, missed assisted collections).
