We are looking for a full time Housing Management Officer to be based at Shirley Local Housing Office.
About The Team
The team in the Housing Office work with residents to resolve all tenancy management issues and to look after the neighbourhoods. Housing Management Officers are responsible for the tenancy management in a specific geographical area (patch) of both general needs and supported housing council owned properties.
As a Housing Management Officer, you will be required to provide comprehensive housing and tenancy management services. This includes processing tenancy changes, managing complex tenancy cases like antisocial behaviour issues which can sometimes result in preparing and serving legal paperwork and representing the Council at Court. Housing Management Officers also have an active role in supporting residents to sustain their tenancies and in safeguarding children and adults by working in partnership with relevant agencies.

This is a great opportunity to work as part of a busy and supportive team of Housing Officers, Housing Assistants, Neighbourhood Wardens and Cleaners ensuring our service delivery to customers is to a high standard, within required timescales and following our policies and procedures.
