The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven PR Account Manager to take the next step in their career and play a central role in delivering outstanding integrated creative campaigns for some of the biggest names in sport.
As a key client lead, you’ll manage accounts, build strong client relationships, and oversee the strategic and day-to-day delivery of campaigns.
You’ll bring expertise in PR, media relations, and earned influencer marketing while also mentoring junior team members and helping shape the future direction of the agency’s work.
Responsibilities
* Leading the development and execution of innovative consumer PR campaigns for high-profile sports brands, rights-holders, and teams.
* Managing client relationships across key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact, and ensuring clear, proactive communication.
* Overseeing campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
* Providing strategic media relations leadership, guiding media sell-ins, and leveraging deep knowledge of the UK media landscape to drive coverage.
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members, fostering their professional development, and ensuring high standards of work across the team.
* Keeping up to date with industry trends and identifying proactive media opportunities to maximise brand exposure.
The Person
* A well established and confident Senior Account Executive ready to step up, or an existing Account Manager with experience in creative consumer PR, ideally within the sports industry.
* An enthusiastic team player who thrives in a collaborative and high-performing environment, eager to help shape the agency’s continued growth and success.
* Proven experience in delivering integrated consumer PR campaigns, with strong skills across PR, content, experiential, and sponsorship activation.
* Passionate about sport and entertainment, with an understanding of how brand storytelling through sport can create a meaningful impact.
* There is a particular focus on football-centric accounts, so having a passion for and a good knowledge of football is desired (but not vital).
* A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, confident in making informed decisions while considering the needs of clients and colleagues.
* Proactive and results-driven, able to take ownership of projects, build strong relationships, and contribute to the agency’s creative and commercial success.
