A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join an alternative provision in Birkenhead, supporting Key Stage 4 students who have faced challenges in mainstream education. About the Role
The provision supports students at risk of exclusion, offering a structured, adaptable environment with specialist facilities, including a kitchen and games room. Learning extends beyond the classroom, incorporating practical activities and enrichment programmes to promote personal growth. The curriculum ensures students achieve GCSE qualifications while also benefiting from unaccredited enrichment programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting students with SEMH and behavioral challenges to engage with learning.
* Assisting in the delivery of individualised education plans.
* Encouraging positive behavior in a structured, nurturing environment.
* Collaborating with teachers, pastoral staff, and external agencies.
