Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant Location: Epsom, Surrey Hours: 20- 30 hours per week (flexible working options available) Reports to: Accounts Payable Manager What You’ll Do: As a vital member of our busy finance team, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations for our group of nurseries. You’ll be responsible for processing supplier invoices, employee expenses, and credit card transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will help maintain the integrity of our financial records. Your key responsibilities will include: Processing supplier invoices, employee expense claims, and company credit card transactions accurately and promptly. Ensuring proper coding of invoices, expenses, and transactions in line with internal policies. Managing the invoice approval process via our web portal. Assisting with supplier account reconciliations. Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks where needed. What You Bring: Skills & Experience: Experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role. Strong proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and general IT literacy. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines. Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
