An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who has excellent customer care and communication skills. The role of Housing Assistant undertakes a wide range of clerical duties including word processing, filing, and photocopying. You will be working within a busy locality housing office, supporting Housing Officers and providing advice to tenants and customers, making a direct impact on the local community and our service users.
You will be required to demonstrate the ability to organise and prioritise your workload, respond to changing priorities, and contribute effectively to team goals and projects. Additionally, you should possess the necessary skills to use all relevant IT systems and software applications, particularly having a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Due to the post being in a front-line service, the successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to the principles of customer care along with effective communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires a high level of confidentiality.
The post of Housing Assistant offers opportunities to gain skills and experience in a front-line and diverse housing environment, with potential for career progression within Housing Services. The role has a variety of responsibilities that bring job satisfaction.
