What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant at We Are Aspire in New York, you will take the lead in business development, client management, and talent acquisition. You'll be responsible for the full recruitment cycle-from identifying business opportunities and sourcing candidates to advising clients and negotiating offers. You'll also mentor junior consultants, contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Identify and develop relationships with U.S.-based clients, understanding their hiring needs and business challenges.
Advise clients on market trends, salary expectations, and recruitment strategies.
Utilise a consultative sales approach to present top talent to clients.
Network across industries to build a pipeline of business opportunities.
Candidate Sourcing & Evaluation
Use multiple sourcing methods, including headhunting, networking, job boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter, to find high-caliber candidates.
Conduct thorough interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Mentorship & Leadership
Guide and mentor junior consultants, supporting their professional growth.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in recruitment and client management.
Market Analysis & Strategy Development
Stay up to date on trends in the U.S. job market, salary benchmarks, and talent availability.
Provide insights that shape our recruitment strategies and approach in the U.S. market.
Negotiation & Offer Management
Act as the liaison between clients and candidates during the offer stage, ensuring smooth negotiations.
Advise on compensation structures, benefits, and contract terms.
Compliance & CRM Management
Maintain accurate candidate and client records in CRM.
Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws and internal company policies.

✔ Proven recruitment experience (preferably in media, digital, marketing, or sales sectors).
✔ Strong understanding of the U.S. recruitment landscape and industry best practices.
✔ Exceptional communication & negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
✔ A consultative sales approach to advising clients on talent solutions.
✔ Strong business development & relationship-building abilities.
✔ A proactive, results-driven mindset, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
✔ Familiarity with recruitment software & CRM tools (Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
