Events and Business Support Executive, HU15; commutable from Hull, West Hull villages, Market Weighton, Goole, Beverley, Barton-Upon Humber, Cottingham, and surrounding areas (train links close to office location)
Salary: £26,500 plus benefits including 30 days holiday + bank holidays, increased pension contribution is after 1 year up to 7% pension match, free onsite parking.

Our client is a hugely successful, dynamic, independent company who, due to ongoing success, are looking to appoint an Events and Business Support Executive.
We are looking for an Events and Business Support Executive who is a confident and effective communicator, highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and with demonstrable administration and IT skills. You may already be working in a business events organisational role, or a role involving some organisation of events; however we would also welcome applications from events management graduates.
As the Events and Business Support Executive, you’ll work closely with the team to deliver an expanding portfolio of events and Learn training courses. You’ll take ownership of key event logistics, from preparing delegate lists and coordinating communications to setting up in-person and virtual sessions. Your role will ensure that every attendee and presenter have a positive experience, whether in a venue or on Zoom. You’ll also coordinate with third-party suppliers to ensure smooth event delivery. In addition to event responsibilities, you will provide executive support to the CEO, managing schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements to keep everything running smoothly.
Events & Business Support responsibilities
* Creation of event and course listings, preparation of delegate lists, pre and post event/course communication, collation of feedback and evaluation
* Setting up and support delivery of in-person and virtual Zoom events and courses, ensuring a positive experience for attendees and presenters. This includes organising catering, breakout rooms, slideshow preparation and operation during the event/course, and creating and managing polls
* Co-ordinating relationships with third parties in the delivery of the expanding events
* Diary management for events, delegate and stakeholder communications, and creating documentation on event processes
* Executive support for CEO – making appointments and monitoring upcoming meetings to ensure any necessary preparations are made – provision of relevant papers, travel arrangements etc.
* First point of contact for all inbound telephone calls and email enquiries about event and Learn course bookings
Skills and experience required for the Events & Business Support Executive
* High level of competence in using the following MS Office products - MS Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams
* Operational and administration experience with video-conferencing/webinar software, in particular, Zoom
* Experience of events
We are looking for and Events & Business Support Executive who is organised, a team player and driven, with an appetite to build knowledge and grow skills. You may already be an Events Assistant or Events Executive, or you may work in an administration role with some events work experience, you may also have just graduated in events management or marketing with events.
