As a Supply Chain Leader, you will be responsible for the efficient and timely flow of parts from global suppliers to Solihull Operations and its extended warehouse operations, ensuring material delivery is to schedule, on time and in full.,
* Ensure clear communication and appropriate escalation of issues which may affect continuity of production through Daily management of parts supply risks and escalations into Plant start up meetings and daily meeting cadence
* Coordinate with Suppliers, Plant Production, Purchasing and STA in the effective resolution of supply issues that risk ongoing and future Plant performance
* Negotiate and authorise premium freight to ensure that costs are kept within budget whilst ensuring continuity of production at all times.
* Data analytical and reporting through platforms which support governance and central MP&L deployment
* Ensure that obsolescence liability is minimised by working closely with the Engineering Change Control team and Data Integrity
Strong Analytical and Investigation skills
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
* Working knowledge of problem-solving tools including PPS/8D
* Ability to write A3s, technical reports and deliver presentations to various levels
* Ability to maintain and interpret logistics data knowledge and skills with a broad understanding of the interfaces into vehicle platforms and plants
