A bit about the role In the role of Senior Play Worker Spring Oscars, you'll be an effective member of the Out of School Club team delivering a flexible, high quality, education and care centred service before and after school and during the holidays that meets the needs of children 4-12 years of age and their families and the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. What you’ll be doing In the role of Senior Play Worker Spring Oscars, you'll be: Deputising for the Play Leader in their absence and holiday cover Ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating and fun environment for all children at the club. Engaging effectively with the children during their time in the club. Planning and taking part in play and leisure activities for children. Assisting with the set-up of the club so it's ready for when the children arrive and that any snacks or breakfasts are prepared in line with healthy-eating guidelines. Thoroughly enjoying your role and making each day count for the children in our care. What we need from you In the role of Senior Play Worker Spring Oscars, we're ideally looking for someone who has: Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education or a Play Work qualification. A real passion to work with children and make a difference. First Aid qualification or ability to achieve. Enhanced DBS Disclosure Certificate or ability to achieve. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or ability to achieve. A key part of your role will include using a variety of IT packages Experience at providing administrate support.
