Job Title: GCSE SEN Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:
* Provide one-to-one support and tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at the GCSE level
* Create individualised learning plans tailored to each student's specific needs and learning styles
* Develop and implement educational activities and strategies to enhance students' academic progress
* Assess students' progress, identify areas for improvement, and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to provide updates on student's progress
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience working with students with SEN, particularly at the GCSE level
* Knowledge of SEN support strategies and educational practises
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a SEN setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
* Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional qualifications in Special Education or SEN support
* Experience using assistive technologies to support students with SEN
Working Conditions:
* Work on-site at schools or in the learners home in the East of England
* Interact with students, parents, and school staff to provide support and feedback

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
