A little about myself: I am a young child with ASD and GDD. I love to run in open spaces, climb and bounce. I love swimming and playing in water. I love to explore and look inside cupboards, handbags, drawers and pull everything out.
Driver required to take me out.
After a period or rapport and trust building at home, I will need a PA who drives to take me to outside safe spaces and fun places for me to use up lots of energy and develop my social independence.
Female preferred.
Hours of work
4 hours per week during term time with 10 miles
8 hours per week during school holidays with 20 miles.
Rate of pay.
£12.75 per hour after tax and NI.
£0.39p per mile.
Essential:
You must be patient and kind and happy. You must be experienced in working with young people who have ASD and GDD. You must be fast, to keep up with me and stop me from running into unsafe places. You must be able to swim competently and be happy to take me swimming or playing in the water.

Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
