The post holder will be responsible for developing and applying systems, control processes, and risk management arrangements that ensure full compliance with internal and external governance procedures and benchmark against best practice requirements.

We deliver services across a wide geographical area within Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC). These services play a critical role in keeping the population healthy. Both urgent and emergency care services play a specific part in supporting adults, Children, & Young People in receiving the right care from the right person as quickly as possible.
The Lead Nurse is a senior managerial and clinical leadership post at TGH. The primary function is to support the Divisional Nurse Director of Medicine / Urgent and Emergency Care in providing highly professional support and advice to all staff working in UEC. This includes overseeing the day-to-day operational function of services and prioritising safe and high-quality care. The lead nurse will also need to support the broader corporate professional agenda.
