Would you like to join one of the UK’s leading theatre production and promotion companies?
Prestige Productions Ltd, part of the Gripping Theatre Productions Ltd group, is looking for a creative, proactive and methodical individual to manage the graphic design and associated administration tasks to support the promotion of a wide portfolio of touring theatre productions. The role is based at our bright and modern head office in Portishead, Bristol.
About us
We produce and promote theatre shows which tour both in the UK and internationally. Our stable of shows is varied and includes, among others, That’ll Be The Day, Fairytale of New York, Seven Drunken Nights, Some Guys Have All The Luck – The Rod Stewart Story, Live Forever – The Rise of Britain’s Greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll Band, UK Pink Floyd Experience, and Walk Right Back – The Everly Brothers Story. That’ll Be The Day has built a long-standing reputation for delivering quality entertainment - the legendary show has performed to over five million people and has been touring for almost 40 years.
About the role
As Graphic Design & Print Co-ordinator, you will manage the creative aspect of the marketing to support and promote our stable of shows. With assistance from the Junior Print Co-ordinator, you will liaise with venues regarding print requirements, resize posters and venue specific artwork, as well as liaise with the print company to process print orders and ensure that all print is delivered on time and displayed in the venues in advance of show day. You will also help design new stage sets, show programmes and tour posters. Although this is a creative role, it also involves a large amount of administration, so first-class organisation skills are essential.
About you
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same - you need to be able to think on your feet and work well under pressure. We are an expanding team so the willingness to pull together when necessary is essential, but you will also need to work independently and proactively using your own initiative. You will need strong Photoshop and InDesign skills, knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and Teams, as well as good communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience of theatre productions and an interest in theatre is highly desirable.
What we offer
* Salary: £30,000 per annum
* Full time, 35 hours per week – but this role may not always be 9am-5pm. The nature of the business means that sometimes you may be required to take a call after ‘normal’ office hours
