A global biotech company has the opportunity for an Inside Sales Specialist to join its team. Based in the UK, you will drive business in both the UK and German territories. German language skills would be highly desirable but not essential. You must have previous B2B sales experience, ideally in the biotech, food or beverage manufacturing markets. Location: Buckinghamshire – Hybrid Position Overview: The Inside Sales Specialist will play a key role within the Sales Operation Team, focusing on driving the growth of the direct business in both Germany and the UK (split 50/50). This role involves managing and generating revenue from a specific account base, working closely with Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) in these regions. Core Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Territory Sales Manager to understand customer needs and develop sales strategies. Partner with TSM and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) teams to overcome obstacles and secure new business. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects in the assigned territory. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold-calling, lead follow-up, and outbound communications. Expand the database of prospects within the territory. Work with TSMs to develop a strong sales pipeline and close deals. Drive profitable sales growth to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Occasionally conduct online product demonstrations as required. Regularly use and update the CRM platform (MS 365) to manage territory information. Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, programs, and relevant legal requirements. Maintain a professional, ethical approach to all responsibilities. Exhibit a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with strong business acumen and a focus on driving sales growth. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Operations Manager. Required Qualifications: The following qualifications are necessary to successfully perform this role. These may vary depending on department size and location. Knowledge/Experience Required: Fluent in English – ESSENTIAL. Fluent in German – HIGHLY DESIRABLE Bachelor’s Degree in business management, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales. Experience in the food & beverage or life sciences market is preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in sales negotiation. Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is advantageous. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas. Strong phone presence with experience in high-volume calling. Experience using Dynamic CRM. Strong listening and presentation skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail. Adaptability to changing environments.
