Job summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team working at our local Urgent Care Treatment Centre at Hythe Hospital. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing a treatment plan. This position requires a strong foundation in anatomy knowledge, medication administration, and a commitment to patient wellbeing. Patients will be presenting with a range of acute illnesses to be treated on the day. You will be working with an experienced team of ANPs, Paramedics, GP Registrars and GPs. Main duties of the job The position is to work at the Urgent Care Centre at Hythe Hospital dealing with acute on the day illnesses. The team are supervised by a GP from one of the Practices, who is able to support and advise during the session. The GP will also sign off the prescriptions of staff who are non-prescribers. About us Although employed by the Waterfront and Solent Surgery the successful candidate will be based at Hythe Hospital working in our Urgent Care Centre which is run collaboratively with Red and Green and Forestside surgeries.
