Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Executive to join Belhaven on a fixed term contract (maternity cover), where you’ll provide support to the brand team, develop the Belhaven social media and assist with the Belhaven visitor experience and events.
The role reports to Marketing Manager and combines working at the brewery with occasional travel to events, so naturally includes some weekend and / or out of hours working.
Ideally suited for someone within commuting distance of Dunbar.
Key deliverables
8. Assist Marketing Manager with NPD projects and innovation, including product development, testing, set-up, launch and on-going review.
9. Create and schedule content for the Belhaven Social Media channels, and maintain digital presence across our website and review platforms.
10. Assist customer marketing team to create in-outlet activations, working with sales (on & off trade) colleagues, and order Point of Sale material for customers. Visit customer outlets to assess the delivery and impact of marketing activity.
11. Organise delivery of the Belhaven Horse Box to appearances and experiences at the brewery or external functions.
12. Work with the Belhaven Visitor Experience team to deliver a best in class tour experience, and introduce a calendar of events at the Monks Retreat.
13. Deliver activities on time and within allocated budgets often working to tight deadlines.
14. Maintain strong communications with brand teams, sales, telesales, technical service and brewing teams.
15. Support Marketing Manager with marketing communications material, alongside administrative tasks.

16. Occasional cover for Belhaven Visitor Hosts in the shop, meet & greet visitors and reception duties.
17. Handle admin tasks such as POS, Invoices.
18. Act as an ambassador for Belhaven at all times.
19. Support with community out-reach & brand partnerships to strengthen Scottish ties.
20. Research and enter awards.
Interdependencies
21. Work hand in hand with sales, customer service and operations teams in Belhaven Brewery together with colleagues in Greene King marketing, finance, trade marketing, and legal – as well as liaising with local agencies, production teams and event organisers where relevant.
