Job Summary: Assist the sous chef, prepare and cook dishes to high standards, manage stock, maintain clean working areas, and promote a safe environment.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assist the sous chef with the smooth running of the kitchen
• Prepare, cook and portion all dishes to the hotel's standards of quality and quantity
• Assist with team management and support, train chefs as needed
• Ensure effective stock purchase, receipt and storage
• Maintain clean working areas
• Promote a safe environment, follow health and safety policies
• Report for duty punctually, wear correct uniform and protective clothing
• Carry out reasonable duties requested
Essential Criteria:
