Peacock Sourcing Limited are currently recruiting for a Door to Door Salesman to work for their well-established client based in Southwest London. In this role you will join a rapidly expanding business that offers Handyman and Cleaning/Housekeeping services to the local surrounding area and with a new year ahead our client is in desperate need of a competent and talented Door to Door Salesman who can help grow the business and aid their marketing campaign The ideal candidate should: Have previous experience as a Marketing assistant or Salesman or Door to Door Salesman or Email marketer or Sales assistant and or etc. Have knowledge of what jobs a handyman can perform Fitting kitchens, painting and decorating, tiling, plastering, carpentry, etc. Have fantastic presentation skills Be friendly, open and honest Be able to speak and write in clear fluent English Have excellent communication and organisation skills. Be able to keep track of leads and act as an account manager for leads gathered. Be able to build long standing relationships with customers. Be willing to travel to other areas in the London area to expand search for leads. Be punctual, arrive to work on time and be both reliable and honest. Be currently registered as self-employed or at least be willing to become so. Currently live in London and be able to start ASAP. Working Hours Flexible hours (You decide the hours you work) Pay £11.44 per hour Commission (This is based on the value of the leads gathered) Duties As a Door to Door Salesman, you will be expected to present your best self, you are the face that all new customers will see, and you represent the company. You are expected to be friendly and polite when selling our services. In this role you will target key areas that could benefit from handyman services going door to door to both companies and people to see if they would be interested, in this role you would be expected to travel to target areas further away from the company’s local area by Victoria station. The areas to be targeted will be discussed over with the manager of the business of which you will work closely with. Any leads you acquire you must keep track of and therefore you are expected to act as an account manager to both organise and keep on top of your work.
