Our client is looking for a Building Manager for a property East Sussex.

Duties:
Unlocking and daily internal and external inspections
Leasing with the facilities team relating to ongoing maintenance
Managing and supervising the onsite staff
Monitoring existing estate service contracts for value and quality
Dealing with all correspondence from tenants and clients appropriately
Building and maintaining working relationships with the leaseholders
Monitoring, reviewing, and managing charge expenditures and controlling costs
Ensuring all Health & Safety obligations and Duty of Care are met effectively
General Concierge duties, including FOH when needed
Strong communication with tenants, including maintenance updates, dealing with complaints and creating a safe and welcoming environment for them
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in FOH/Customer Service and general maintenance
Confident, articulate communicator - both orally and in writing; able to build relationships with all types of customers and clients with a resolution-focused mentality, creative in your approach.
Able to work with autonomy
Efficient in maintaining administration and record keeping electronically
Demonstrable ability to deal with problems and challenges effectively
Comprehensive understanding of the principles relating to Health and Safety regulations
Ability to work under pressure deadlines, able to prioritise and manage time effectively
Excellent IT skills
You must have a strong solid proven track record within a similar environment, an understanding of building maintenance, knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace and carrying out risk assessments.
The successful candidate will be IT literate, have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills as well as being truly motivated, tenacious, and resourceful.
