Job Description: Are you currently a Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Specialist of material handling products and someone who would like to switch to a helpdesk based role?
If so, we are seeking a skilled and customer-focused electrically biased Product Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our global customers and service partners both over the phone and via email. You will troubleshoot product issues, solve customer problems and ensure full customer satisfaction. You will work closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to deliver practical solutions and improve product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide timely technical support to customers, addressing inquiries, diagnosing issues, and offering solutions for our products and systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both remotely and onsite when necessary.
* Document technical issues and resolutions, contributing to our knowledge base for ongoing improvement.
* Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of MasterMover products.
* Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues and contribute to product improvements.
* Deliver product training to customers and service partners to ensure proper usage and performance.
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by following up on issues and providing regular status updates.
Qualifications:
* Proven background in electronics, electronic engineering/design, and controls.
* Experience in wireless systems is desirable.
* Solid understanding of engineering principles, maintenance and repair of machinery and electrical diagnostics.
* Excellent planning, organising, decision making and problem-solving skills.
* Reliable, flexible and proactive individual with good time management and the ability to work autonomously.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
