Social Worker Team Leader – Child and Family Service, Navan, Co. Meath Ireland
Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with Tusla, Ireland's Child and Family Agency, are recruiting for a Social Worker Team Leader to work as part of a Duty / Intake Social Work team located in Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland.
This is a permanent position and will also offer a generous relocation package for candidates applying from outside Ireland and sponsorship of a critical skills employment permit if required.
As a Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. The management of the day-to-day provision of the social work service through leading a team of social workers, in conjunction with the Principal Social Worker.
2. Taking responsibility for a defined caseload as required in particular cases that require a high level of experience and expertise.
3. Manage/provide an initial assessment service to relevant/all care groups and to develop referral procedures with other social work networked services.

Entry Requirements:
1. A recognised qualification as a Social Worker
2. A minimum of 3-5 years post graduate experience working as a social worker ideally with some supervisory/management experience
3. Experience and an interest in working in children and families services
4. Experience and an interest in working in child protection and applying relevant child protection legislation
5. A full clean driver's licence is desirable
6. Police clearance for any country worked in for 6 months or more
7. Professional approach to work
8. Flexibility in work practice
9. Excellent verbal and written English
