The Role:
Are you passionate about driving positive change and innovation in the education sector? We are looking for a dedicated Business Development Manager to join our Education and Inclusion Branch. This role is pivotal in supporting continuous improvement and ensuring the long-term success of our education and inclusion initiatives.
As a Business Development Manager, you will need a wide breadth of skills and experience in order to undertake the following key responsibilities:
* Business Planning: Contribute to strategic planning, coordinate the annual business planning process, and lead the implementation of business plan projects.
* Project Management: Manage change and development programs, ensuring objectives and timelines are met.
* Performance Measurement: Develop processes to monitor customer satisfaction and non-financial performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
* Market Research and Consultation: Conduct research, facilitate stakeholder consultations, and identify new business opportunities.
* Business Development and Customer Engagement: Develop and implement business development and customer engagement plans, build relationships with key stakeholders, and contribute to tendering strategies.
Reporting directly to Heads of Service and with strong links to the Continuous Improvement Manager, your role will encompass the entire project lifecycle in services which have statutory responsibilities, and those that are commercially driven. You will work within a supportive environment that values your expertise and offers ample opportunities for professional growth.
While an understanding of the education and inclusion sector is beneficial, it is not essential. What is crucial are your excellent communication skills, your drive to move projects forward, your ability to analyse and interpret data sets, and your strong commercial acumen.
