This role will require someone with a 'can do' attitude, a commercial approach, demonstrable attention to detail, and the ability to effectively supervise and manage a team. The successful candidate will report to the Transport Manager and must be hardworking, reliable, and possess excellent communication & inter personal skills. Key responsibilities: Liaising with customers regarding delivery dates, times and directions to site; Receiving and processing customer orders for aggregates and bituminous products; Liaising with Transport Management to ensure efficient utilisation of lorries; Handling sales enquiries; Dealing with enquiries effectively and efficiently; Providing after sales support. Essential Criteria: English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above; Ability to multi task, prioritise and plan to meet tight deadlines to achieve required targets; Attention to detail; Competent levels of computer literacy; Good at information seeking and handling; Organisational & time management skills; Strong communication and relationship building skills. Desirable criteria: Have a good knowledge of the construction industry. Due to the location of the Quarry a full driving licence and own transport is essential.
