General information Reference 007737 Publication start date 21/11/2024 Job description Workshop Post description Labourer Division Trenching & Shoring - Labourer Title Labourer - Bury St Edmunds Contract type Permanent Full Time Location United Kingdom, South East, Bury St Edmunds Trenching & Shoring Location CB7 4UB Number of positions to be provided 1 Employment Details Contract hours 42.50 About the role The Role Our nationwide Trenching and Shoring division hire a range of equipment across the construction, utilities and infrastructure industries which will help put trench boxes in place such as chain slings, manhole lifter, ladders, lifting pins, manhole chain clamps and counterbalanced davit systems. The Role Working in the heart of the depot, the Labourer is to be responsible for keeping the workshop and yard areas clean and tidy whilst ensuring those areas are clear of any hazards and that tools are store away correctly. The Labourer is also responsible that any equipment leaving the depot has been pressure cleaned and refuelled, ready for the customer, whilst updating fuel logs accurately. About You About You Successful candidates should demonstrate the following: • Previous experience working in a labourer role, preferably within a hire depot/yard environment • Strong team player who is willing to support their colleagues with additional tasks when required • Ability to work to own initiative in a fast-paced depot environment whilst maintaining a high attention to detail • CSCS card, forklift licence and driving licence is preferable About Us About Us GAP Hire Solutions now has 10 divisions offering the hire of equipment throughout the UK.
